ocr: Koala bear Koala bears live in the woodland and forest of: southeastern Australia. These animals are not really bears at all-they get their name because of their attractive bear-like fur. Koalas are marsupial animals, giving birth to tiny embryos which are suckled in the koala's pouch. Koalas eat only the leaves of eucalyptus trees, and each adult eats more than two pounds of leaves each day.
